Separations

Enrollees can exit the SEE Program in the following ways:

Non-Renewal - SEE Program enrollment agreements span one year periods. At the end of the year, the primary monitor may decide not to renew the enrollee.

Position Abolishment - Positions may be abolished at a monitor's discretion. Documentation explaining the reason for abolishment - e.g., lack of funding or lack of work - must be provided to NOWCC upon separation. The position cannot then be backfilled until 6 months have passed. You must contact the enrollee's NOWCC Field Director to initiate a Position Abolishment.

Resignation - Enrollees may resign at any point during their enrollment agreement. NOWCC encourages enrollees to give at least 2 weeks' notice.

Separation for Cause - If an enrollee has failed to carry out his or her duties, has violated SEE Program policy, or has committed misconduct, the enrollee may be separated and a new enrollee recruited to fill the position. You must contact the enrollee's NOWCC Field Director to initiate a separation for cause.

Generally, enrollees are placed on probation prior to Separation for Cause being initiated.
